Since 2013, FDP has been involved in development cooperation in areas that value the expertise of the organization by implementing projects funded by the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) through Romania’s Development Cooperation Program (RoAid) implemented with the support of United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) – Regional Center for Europe and Central Asia.
In the period 2013-2017, FDP has implemented three projects in favor of children and young people with disabilities in partnership with international and local organizations in Palestine: AVSI Palestina, LifeGateReabilitation Center, Effeta Institute.
Also from 2013, FDP implements, in collaboration with international organizations, projects funded by the European Union or programs of European countries to exchange experience and develop anti-discrimination education initiatives:
- Europeans for Peace /INTERActiveAgainst Discrimination in Europe
- Erasmus+ / Key competences for all: Exchanging practice on building, measuring and improving key competences for social and labor inclusion”
- PRISM: Preventing, redressing and inhibiting hate speech in new media
- BEAMS: Breaking down European Attitudes towards Migrant/Minority Stereotypes
